First of Its Kind Digital Poster For “EK THA TIGER” Starring Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif

In yet another first, Yash Raj Films releases the first look of the Salman Khan & Katrina Kaif starrer, EK THA TIGER, in an exclusive first of its kind online digital poster.



Directed by Kabir Khan and Produced by Aditya Chopra, the romantic thriller started shooting recently for its first schedule. The film is based on a story by Aditya Chopra and the Screenplay & Dialogues have been written by Kabir Khan and Neelesh Misra.



The film releases on 1st June 2012 in theatres worldwide.

Yash Raj Films is pleased to announce its next project. Directed by Kabir Khan and Produced by Aditya Chopra, the romantic-thriller “EK THA TIGER”, stars Salman Khan & Katrina Kaif in the lead roles.

Yash Chopra, speaking about the project, said it was a very happy moment for him. “Everyone knows my association with Salim saab, having worked together on Deewaar, Trishul and Kaala Patthar. It is a very happy moment for me and YRF to have his son Salman with us for the first time. Over the years, Salman has become a very matured and talented actor and both he and the beautiful Katrina have a tremendous connect with their audiences. Combined with Kabir’s edgy directorial skills, we can all look forward to a thrilling film. I really loved the script which is based on a story written by Adi and I am sure that the whole team will do an excellent job on this project.”

Salman Khan said that he was honoured to be working with YRF for the first time. He said, “In the past Adi and I have met a few times on various projects but somehow, when Kabir and he came to me with this particular story, we all just knew that this was the one. It is a very ambitious project and will be a challenge for all of us, but that's exactly what makes it such a big draw. Above all this, I’m honoured to be working with Yashji, who has worked so closely with my Dad in the past.”

The story is by Aditya Chopra and the Screenplay & Dialogues have been written by Kabir Khan and Neelesh Misra. Aseem Mishra, who has worked with Kabir on New York, will be the DOP. The music will be scored by Pritam.

The film starts shooting early July and is slated for a mid-2012 release.

Now this is news! Katrina Kaif was spotted outside Salman Khan's house on Saturday night (25th dec 2010). Below are pictures of Katrina leaving Salman's house.

Kat drove into Salman's Galaxy pad in Bandstand (Bandra) late evening and even stayed there for at least one-and-a-half hours bonding with him as well as his family members. We hear that she was there to wish him in advance for his brithday.

Family say that Salman was very friendly with Kat and vice versa and they had a blast chatting up after ages as both were busy with their respective shooting commitments. "Kat had some food at Salman's pad and caught up on some hearty conversation.

By the way they were interacting with each other, nothing seems to be wrong between the relationship that they have been sharing. Kat continues to be close to the entire Khan family and considers Salman to be her advisor and, most importantly, a very close friend. Salman, too, is quite fond of her. They hugged each other and spent at least one hour with just each other." What's also interesting is that Salman even escorted Kat all the way to her car when she was leaving and waited at the door waving to her till her car zoomed away.

Katrina Kaif sports a toned body for the song. Speaking about the song, its director Farah Khan states, “Sheila Ki Jawani was supposed to be a raunchy item Bhojpuri kind of song as Katrina's a wannabe actress acting in sleazy films but the song shaped out to be classy and a mix between Chicago and Broadway.”

Interestingly, for one of the sequences in the song, Kat was asked to cover herself in a white satin sheet with men dancing along with her. “For the satin bed sheet, we had a 10 feet rotating bed with the men around her,” added Farah about the sweltering song.

Katrina who wanted to lose weight for this raunchy song 'Sheila Ki Jawani' had never been compelled by Farah that she should have well toned abs.

It’s learnt that this ‘Tees Maar Khan’ actress had decided on her own to have a toned body for the song.

Incidentally, this might be the song which can make Katrina jump from her earlier image of Barbie girl to a classic Indian beauty.

The song which infuses a bubbling effervescence does have a vivid contribution to make in the film and Farah is super excited that it has shaped up perfectly well.
