Shweta Tiwari is Bigg Boss 4 Winner

Popular TV actress Shweta Tiwari Saturday walked away with the crown of Bigg Boss 4 and the prize money of Rs.1 crore at a grand finale here After 14 weeks of staying within closed boundaries, without any connection with the outside world, and surviving politics, cat fights and eliminations. Tiwari became the first woman to win the reality show announced at a grand finale in Lonavala on Saturday night (Jan 8th 2011). The Great Khali and actor Ashmit Patel are first and second runners up respectively.

All three runners-up Ashmit Patel, Dolly Bindra and The Great Khali - took home a bike each, while actor-model Sameer Soni received a Chevrolet Cruze as a special prize for being the boldest and most stylish participant of this season.

In the star studded finale host and actor Salman Khan danced on Humka Peeni Hai from the hit movie Dabangg while Pakistani actress Veena Malik danced to Sheila Ki Jawaani.

During her stay in the house, Shweta remained active in the household chores, but still courted trouble for her over-concerned ways due to which many participants felt she is very diplomatic.

Bigg Boss 4 started with 14 contestants, and had two wild card entries in subsequent weeks, with a three-day guest appearance by Hollywood actress Pamela Anderson . The show was quite full of controversies throughout its run, but kept the audience entertained.

The marriage took place in front of Ali Merchant’s parents and Sara Khan’s Uncle. The “Qaji” read the holy book wordings as per the Muslim tradition. The house was decorated beautifully and the housemates were also having fun.

The Great Khali to Enter Bigg Boss 4 House: Come Saturday, October 16, and Punjab-born 38-year-old WWE wrestler Dalip Singh Rana, better known as The Great Khali, will enter the Bigg Boss House. He was signed this week by Colors after long negotiations with his managers. Khali, who weighs 190 kgs, may be provided with a double bed to accommodate his 7 feet 3 inch frame. Apparently, even the toilet seats are being changed to make the wrestler’s life easy inside the House.

“Right now, the housemates are discontent with the amount of food supplied. No one gets more than two chapattis in a meal because quantities depend on how well they perform their weekly tasks. Khali may have a problem because he is not used to eating such measly portions.”

The one-time World Heavyweight Champion has already appeared in three Hollywood and two Bollywood films. Andrew Whitaker, executive vice president, WWE International, says that the organisation is elated about Khali’s entry into the show: “People have seen him fight.
