Priyanka Chopra & Shahid Kapoor were signed as the brand ambassadors of Bru Coffee in January. The star couple whose fans world over are waiting to see them together on the big screen again, have recently filmed the new Bru Lite commercial, which is presently on air.

Speaking on the association, Priyanka Chopra says, "A great cup of coffee is my constant companion whether at work or at play! That's what makes my association with Bru that much more special. It's a perfect fit." Says Shahid Kapoor, "I am a coffee addict and it is a great opportunity to endorse the brand."

Interview: Kareena Kapoor Says 'Shahid and I Have Moved On'

Kareena Kapoor is peeved that certain sections of the media are going to town over the fact that she was spotted exchanging pleasantries with Shahid Kapoor at a recent award show and then at filmmaker Karan Johar’s party. “It’s probably the 10th time we’ve spoken. But even after four years people still feel the need to write about it. It’s unfair since we’ve moved on. He may be in another relationship now and I’m with Saif (beau Saif Ali Khan) who knows that I will always wish Shahid well.”

So can be there a Jab We Met 2 now? “Some classics are best left untampered. Remember Geet as she was, why try to bring her back?”

Kareena is particularly excited to have signed up another film with her idol Aamir Khan. She admits that at one point she almost believed she’d lost the Zoya Akhtar movie because the dates were not working out. “I don’t have even an hour to spare for the next year but Salman (Bodyguard) and Karan (producer of Short Term Shaadi) were very accommodating and I’m looking forward to working with Aamir and Rani (Mukerji), whose crackling chemistry in Ghulam had mesmerised me,” she says, adding that the dhokla-fefda drunken scene in 3 Idiots is one of her best scenes ever, and she has Aamir to thank for it.

“He was always ready with suggestions. All the Khans are team players. Saif gets magazine cuttings for Sriram (Agent Vinod director Sriram Raghavan) to mould my look and he discusses my clothes with Aki Narula. And Shah Rukh wants me to look gorgeous in RA.One.”

Is there talk of another film with SRK? Says Kareena, “The next eight months are really busy. If I sign any more films, my family and Saif will forget me. And I will have to Xerox myself and distribute the copies amongst my producers.”

The actor has just returned from a rejuvenating break and is ready to start another hectic year. Bringing in the New Year with beau Saif has become an annual ritual now, after a Christmas spent with his kids and their families. “I love Gstaad…The snow, the food, the people and the tranquility. I guess, there’s a bit of Europe in both Saif and me. That’s why we keep going back to this way-out Swiss town. I’ve grown up in the film world but sometimes it’s nice to go someplace where no one talks about Bollywood movies or music,” she sighs, adding that Saif and she have learnt to enjoy reading, skiing or just talking. “We’ve also made a pact to meet every 10 days.”

Guestlist of Invitees For Sania - Shoaib Wedding & Reception, See Who are Invited.

WHO ARE EXPECTED TO ATTEND SANIA MIRZA - SHOAIB MALIK MARRIAGE?

Now that Shoaib Malik has paved the path for his proposed marriage with Sania Mirza, let’s talk happy wedding-stuff.

As of now, the wedding is to be held on April 15 at Taj Krishna in Hyderabad. However, the Mirzas have a back-up plan in case there is some disruption. For example, the Shiv Sena is planning to ‘boycott’ the wedding.

But in case, there is any sign of trouble, the wedding may be shifted to one of the heritage hotels in Jaipur or Jodhpur in Rajasthan.

Former tennis champs Steffi Graff and Andre Agassi head the list of Confirmed Guests. Former Pakistan cricket captain Imran Khan, a mentor of sorts to Shoaib, is is a maybe. His ex-wife Jemima Goldsmith, who was reportedly fond of the young Pakistani allrounder, may join Imran in wishing Shoaib and Sania.

Other guests who have Reserved a Sorry-can’t do-but-wishing-the-couple-the-very-best are Kajol and Ajay Devgan (currently in Dubai), tennis ace and mentor Mahesh Bhupathi (who will be in Monte Carlo) and actor Lara Dutta who will be with her family in Bangalore. Among the invitees are Hyderabad Police Commissioner A K Khan.

It has earlier been reported that Imran Zafar (Shoaib's Brother In Law) informed the press about the invitees to the Reception and said, "The guestlist will have cricketers Bhajji (Harbajan Singh), Viru (Virendra Shewag) and Ashish Nehra. My son (Shoaib’s nephew) is a huge fan of Team Kolkata. We will be inviting SRK. The rest of the guestlist will be decided once Shoaib returns to Pakistan. There’ll be no reception in Dubai.”

Unconfirmed reports say a sangeet of sorts is being planned in Mumbai, in which the bride’s good friend, Bollywood hottie Shahid Kapoor, will dance.

PERSONAL INVITES

The family is said to have dispatched about 800 invitation cards, expecting twice as many guests. Sania’s father, Imran Mirza, has been busy, inviting local friends and VIPs personally.

Though the number of guests coming from Pakistan and Dubai is not known, the Mirzas are said to have reserved about 25 rooms at Novotel hotel near Shamshabad International Airport. An equal number of rooms have been booked at hotel Taj Krishna and Taj Deccan.

Meanwhile, Shoaib’s mother Noorjahan and sister arrived in the city last Wednesday and are busy shopping for the bride and bridegroom. Sania’s mother is learnt to have ordered Sania’s wedding jewellery from a Mumbai showroom.

NOW it can be told, the Sania Mirza-Shoaib Malik marriage that is taking place in Hyderabad on April 15, will have its grand reception not in Dubai or Pakistan as is widely believed, but in Mumbai. Yes, and the date slated for this big-time party to celebrate the union between India’s tennis poster girl and Pakistan’s flamboyant cricketer is April 18th. Apparently, the new venue for the reception was decided on Monday after the Taj in Mumbai announced the reopening of its Grand Ballroom. Careful thought was also given to the list of eminent international guests who would want to bless the young couple and would, naturally, be happier doing so on Indian soil rather than Pakistani.

The Taj is being secretive about the reception plans. Executive Chef Hemant Oberoi will be dashing down in a private jet to Sialkot in Pakistan to meet the groom’s family with his best wedding menus of the last five years. And, Police Commissioner D Sivanandhan has already requisitioned Black Cat commandos from New Delhi to throw a security cordon around the venue on April 18. A celebrity event management company, used to working on the Academy Awards, is putting the finishing touches on the programme. A sangeet of sorts is being planned in which the bride’s good friend, Bollywood hottie Shahid Kapoor, will dance. Then Mahesh Bhupathi, Sania’s tennis partner in the ATP doubles, has expressed the wish to do an item number with his new girlfriend, Bollywood’s sex bomb and former Miss Universe Lara Dutta.

As to who will be attending the reception, that guest list could be anybody’s guess but it has be learned that among the VVIPs will be former tennis superstars Andre Agassi and wife Steffi Graf. Sania has always been an unabashed Steffi fan and the German tennis legend has conveyed that she would be delighted to attend the reception with her American husband. Former Pakistan cricketer Imran Khan, a mentor of sorts to Shoaib, is also coming. LOVE SIX AND DHOKHA: The attractive 23-year old tennis star has had quite a colourful stint off the court, having been linked with quite a few poster boys.

Sania was engaged to childhood friend Sohrab in July last year. She called off the engagement six months later, citing incompatibility.


Adil Mirza, father of Sania Mirza's ex-fiance, wished good luck to the ace tennis player following her engagement to Pakistani cricketer Shoaib Malik. "I spoke to Imran (Sania's father) and congratulated him. It is a happy thing. I wish best of luck for them," Adil Mirza told reporters. He also said Sania's engagement to Shoaib Malik will not affect the ties between the two families, which is an old relationship. Adil said Sohrab Mirza was aware of the development and he would wish Sania on her engagement.

Yes, though Bhupathi is credited to be her mentor, it did not stop speculations that there was more than professional camaraderie between the two tennis aces.

And after filming for over 60 days onlocation in prominent and historic sites across 13 cities of India and 30 days of post-production work, the video of the iconic song features a gift of love to the nation.

Priyanka Chopra, who had refused to kiss her 'close' friend Harman Baweja in Love Story 2050 as she felt there was no need for a kissing scene in the script, has now agreed to a lip-lock with co-star Shahid Kapoor in Vishal Bhardwaj's Kaminay. It is known that Priyanka Chopra is not comfortable with overtly sizzling scenes on-screen and she even asked director Madhur Bhandarkar to tone down her intimate scenes with Arbaaz Khan and Arjan Bajwa in Fashion.

This lip-lock is more interesting because it comes close on the heels of rumours linking the pair. A source from the unit says, "This will the first time that Priyanka Chopra will be doing a full-fledged kissing scene. It is a real sizzler!" The source adds that this time too, Priyanka initially had reservations and Vishal shot the scene without the kiss but when they sat down to watch the rushes at the edit he was convinced the kiss was necessary to establish their characters' growing proximity, so he urged PC to. She finally agreed.

Exceptions

Priyanka has always maintained that she would only kiss on-screen if the script really demanded it. The actress is known to be picky about kissing her co-stars on screen — no matter how close she is to them, off-screen. However she has made an exception in Shahid's case. Shasha and PC have bonded really well on and off the sets (with PC often seen visiting Shahid's home and travelling together to film shoots)."A source in Vishal Bhardwaj's office confirmed the news and added, "It's true that Priyanka and Shahid have kissed in the film. However it is too early to divulge any details about that"
