‘Udaan’ Premiere at 63rd Cannes Film Fest, Pictures of Ronit Roy & Ram Kapoor

The Indian film Udaan was screened on May 19, 2010 at the 63rd International Cannes Film Festival.
'Udaan', a film by debutant director Vikramaditya Motwane, starring Ronit Roy was selected for the screening in the Un Certain Regard section at the Cannes Film Festival. And Ronit and the other members from the cast and crew of the film made an appearance at the event and were snapped on the red carpet at cannes 2010.

Apart From Ronit Roy the movie also stars another popular TV actor and anchor, Ram Kapoor.

Co-written and produced by Anurag Kashyap, 'Udaan' is the story of a schoolboy's emotional journey and his relationship with his father.

Aditya Pancholi and Ronit Roy Have a Fight Over Security Issues at a Hotel Night club

Aditya Pancholi and Ronit Roy are good friends, but something happened between them recently that led to the buddies fighting with each other in public and even coming close to hitting each other. The incident happened at a night club in a five-star hotel in in Mumbai on Friday night. It seems the two were just talking to each other when something led to the conversation becoming heated. Soon enough, Aditya and Ronit were yelling loudly and even abusing each other. Apparently, Ronit was so agitated that he even broke a glass. Both actors were in high spirits when the big fight broke out and led to an ugly brawl.

"Aditya was at the hotel to attend a fashion event along with his wife Zarina and daughter Sana who is completing a course in interior designing and architecture at the institute hosting the event. The family met Ronit, who is a good friend of theirs , at the event and together they headed to dinner at the restaurant."

After a few drinks, the two actors were seen arguing loudly. Soon after, the shocked onlookers saw Aditya get up and grab Ronit's arm. Before the staff could intervene, the two actors began to wrestle and attempted to push each other down. It was then that Zarina stepped in.

Adds an eye-witness, "Zarina spoke to both of them and they calmed down a bit, and regained their composure. After this, the foursome got up and left the restaurant."

After that night, the duo didn't speak to each other for two days, till they started getting calls asking about the fight. It was then that Aditya called up Ronit and they both decided to give out the same version to the media.

Aditya Panscholi tries to dismiss the matter lightly, "There was no fist fight between Ronit and me. He is like my brother and family. I have known him for the last 18 years." He also insists that there was no fight but just a discussion on security issues, which went a bit out of hand. He said, "Ronit owns a security agency and he asked me why I don't have bodyguards. I told him that I was strong enough to take care of myself and didn't need anybody to look after me. He disagreed and asked me to do panja (arm wrestle) on the table to prove how strong I was. 'Chalo panja ladte hain,' he said and we started doing that. We didn't fight. Once that got over, we had our dinner and left."

Ronit Roy who is currently acting in Ekta Kapoor's TV serial Bandini as Dharamraj Mahiyavangshi also says, "It wasn't anything major. We just had a verbal argument. There was no fist fight or a physical scuffle. It was something really minor. Aditya is like a brother to me and I hope this incident isn't blown out of proportion."

IPL Signature After Match Party at UB City in Bangalore (View Pictures)

After a slammer of a match, Royal Challengers Bangalore had every reason to party. Instead, and to the disappointment of fans and guests at the third IPL Signature Post Match Night party at Vijay Mallya's UB City on Tuesday evening, the players from both teams, RCB and Chennai Super Kings opted to stay in instead of dancing the night away.

David Warner from the Delhi Daredevils was the only player we spotted at the party. Vijay Mallya, son Siddharth Mallya and friends including designer Manoviraj Khosla made customary appearances leaving around 2 am. So, it didn’t come as a surprise that despite some groovy music by DJ Shiva, the crowd started thinning thereafter. A far cry from the last shindig which went on till almost 4 am. There is such a thing as party-weariness, after all.

In keeping with the party tradition, there was a fashion show, this time by designer Gayatri Khanna. The themed on the idea of a “spectrum,” the collection, combined colour and geometric patterns. Red dominated this line because, as Khanna said, “Red is the colour of RCB.” The experience of designing for the IPL, she confesses, was crazy. We couldn’t agree more because the models made the clothes look good.
