Director duo Abbas Mustan have started shooting the official remake of the Hollywood crime thriller 'The Italian Job', Players in Goa. The movie stars Abhishek Bachchan, Sonam Kapoor, Bobby Deol, Neil Nitin Mukesh, Omi Vaidya and Bipasha Basu.
8 November was the first day of the shoot. Kapoor and Bachchan wrote about the shoot on Twitter.
"In Goa starting a new film.. Excited and nervous all over again," tweeted Kapoor.
While Bachchan wrote, "It's a new dawn, it's a new day and it's a new film! First day of shoot. Ok, I think I'll go faint now!! Nervous."
The film is an official adaptation of the 2003 film Hollywood flick The Italian Job, which starred Mark Wahlberg, Charlize Theron, Donald Sutherland, Jason Statham and Edward Norton amongst others.
The film is produced by Studio 18 and will be shot in Russia and New Zealand next.
