My brother Ajay recently did a shoot for his campaign." Another photographer, who hero-worships the actor, has been flaunting his watch worth Rs 19,000.
No middlemen
Even Salman's buddy Nadeem, who is with the actor 24/7, sports the chunky ghadi on his wrist.
A source close to the actor says, "Seventy eight per cent of the money from the watch sales goes to the Being Human Foundation, while 22 per cent goes to the shopkeeper.
There are no middlemen to commit fraud, and the money directly reaches the needy. This festive season, people should gift these watches to loved ones. Apart from looking great, they also help someone in need."
The watches have been personally designed by Salman and manufactured by Arun, who normally only takes orders for customised watches that costs lakhs.
The actor wanted to gauge the initial response to the watches hence there'as been no advertising blitz surrounding it.
After watches, the next franchise to be released will be Being Human T-shirts, which will be available at Cotton World stores around the country. They will be priced Rs 400 onwards.
