Dabangg is all set to smash the week one record set by Three Idiots at the box office. The first seven day business of Dabanng will be more than the first week plus paid preview business of Three Idiots.
The unbelievable dream run of Dabangg continued on Wednesday as the film grossed an approx 7 crore nett on Wednesday as per early estimates. The six day business is now over 75 crore nett while the seven day business of Three Idiots was 76 crore nett. The seven day business of Dabangg is looking to finish the week at 81.50-82 crore nett.
The Dabanng story so far as per final estimates is a 49.25 crore nett weekend followed by a 10.60 crore Monday, 8.60 crore nett Tuesday and 7 crore (early estimate) for Wednesday for a total of 75.45 crore nett for six days.
The week one distributor share of Dabangg will be an unheard, unseen and unbelievable 52 crore approx. Which is a huge 5.50 crore higher than the first week share of Three Idiots. The share of Dabanng could go even a bit higher and it is amazingly just 1 crore short of the lifetime share of Salman Khan's biggest hit ever Hum Aapke Hain Kaun.
The film is holding up very well on weekdays and a huge second weekend is on the cards. Single screens are phenomenal with just 0-10% daily drops on the weekdays.
