DC Fashion Event: Calling all DC Bloggers and Fashionistas

Hey all......
I get super duper excited for all fashion events and even more excited when they are right here in the 'DMV'. Fashion's Night Out is one of the biggest fashion events next to the MET Gala and of course the numerous Fashion Weeks and Georgetown is hosting for the 2nd year in a row its own FNO. I am extra pumped this year for it since I work literally 10 minutes from Georgetown.

I'd love to get a group of DC Bloggers and fashionistas together and we can conquer this event fashionably ensemble... I am sure many members of La Bella Mafia: DC Fashion Bloggers will be in attendance and this would be a great and fun way for us all to meet.

If interested, please contact me via email and/or leave comments below....

A little history on FNO:
Fashion's Night Out is sponsored by Vogue and the CFDA as a way to boost the failing retail industry and allow fashion lovers to purchase their fave merchandise at a discount. The first event began in 2009 and was held in New York (surprise, surprise) In 2010 the event was held in Australia, Brazil, China, London, Paris, Berlin, Greece, India, Milan, Portugal, Russia, Spain, South Korea, Taiwan and Turkey.

In 2010, Georgetown decided to organize and host its own FNO based on NYC and it was beyond a success. This year is expected to be bigger, badder and far more HAUTE!!

So what do you plan on wearing??

DC Fashion Event: House of KAS Anniversary Show

Hey all-

Hope you had a fabulous weekend and were able to stay cool because DC was WAY too HOT!
Speaking of hot, House of KAS is an amazing fashion house and a local designer that I adore. A friend of mine does a lot of his modeling and she is beyond beautiful and stands by him so therefore I do too.

In honor of his late mother Glynda Flanagan, House of KAS designer Kenneth “KAS” Flanagan presents his one year anniversary fashion show benefiting the American Cancer Society on Saturday, July 16th at the National Harbor in Maryland. There is nothing better than charity befriending fashion so I know this will be a phenomenal event!
Please let me know if any of you attend. I won't be able to make it due to another engagement but would love to hear all about it!

Purchase tickets HERE

p.s. It's my beautiful and talented friend on this flyer!

DC Fashion Event: Art Jamz to Benefit Becky's Fund

Here's the deal! On April 21st, some of DC's most fashionable babes will be competing to raise money for Becky's Fund, an organization that puts on a variety of programs in order to further its mission of preventing domestic violence. Bloomingdales in Chevy Chase will be donating 10% of all purchases during the event to Becky's Fund! So fab and soooo a must attend!

Janice Susan Wallace (Capital Fashionista), along with Kelly Collis (The City Shop Girl), Jennifer Barger (Washington Post), Kate Michael (K Street Kate), Holly Thomas (Washington Post), Elaine Mensah (FashionBS), Rachel Cothran (Project Beltway), and Pamela Sorensen (Pamela’s Punch) will be vying for the title "Washington's Top Artista." ArtJamz founder, Michael Clements, is putting our creativity to the test. ArtJamz will be supplying the artistic materials including a canvas, easel, paint and brushes. The challenge is to create a painting to match the season's hottest looks. At the end of the two-hour period, the audience will choose the winner. How cool is that?

So come on out and see who will be crowned "Washington's Top Artista!"I'd love to see members of La Bella Mafia-DC Fashion Bloggers there :)
