According to web sources, this CD album was originally released in the US with only the first 12 tracks. Two different subsequent non-US releases added the Spanglish radio edit of “Maria” as a bonus track, sometimes at the beginning of the song selection, sometimes at the end. 2) According to web sources, in some of the above editions - US release included - CD album comes with alternate cover art and photography. The alternate picture is a David La Chapelle image which is anyhow included in this edition’s inner booklet. 3) In the following credits, those music/tech terms which were originally written in Spanish have been translated into English. 4) Album does not come with track-by-track musician credits. 5) Please check back for inclusion of more data and possibly the numerous alternate versions of this CD album’s singles.

Barry Manilow

“In The Swing Of Christmas” - 2007 US CD release - front inlay

“In The Swing Of Christmas” - 2009 CD re-release (EU) - front inlay

Barry Manilow - In The Swing Of Christmas
Hallmark XPR4172/95902 00878 (2007) - US CD
Arista 88697 57490 2 (2009) - US CD - Re-release with 2 bonus tracks

1 - Silver Bells - (All Vocals By Barry Manilow)
2 - Carol Of The Bells/Jingle Bells
3 - Joy To The World/It’s The Most Wonderful Time Of The Year
4 - Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas
5 - Violets For Your Furs
6 - O Tannenbaum/Winter Wonderland
7 - Christmas Time Is Here
8 - The Christmas Song (Chestnuts Roasting On An Open Fire)
9 - Toyland
10 - Count Your Blessings

2009 re-release bonus tracks

11 - Rudolph The Red Nosed Reindeer
12 - Christmas Is Just Around The Corner* - (from “Cranberry Christmas”)

Notes: 1) Album was first released as a 10-track CD in 2007 under license to the Hallmark company for distribution. In 2009 it was re-released by Arista with 2 added bonus tracks and a slightly altered artwork (see pictures above). 2) Following credits and above pictures were taken both from the US Hallmark release and the EU re-release on Arista/Sony Music 88697 57490 2. According to web sources catalog #s of re-release should be the same both for US and EU markets. 3) There does exist a 3rd bonus track, “It Came Upon A Midnight Clear”, which according to liner notes in the 2007 release is available only as a download from www.barrymanilow.com (see credits below). This information was not however included in the 2009 re-release. 4) Mark Gray, Justin Pintar, Dan Monti and Charlie Paakkari were erroneously credited as assistant engineers under the ‘Mastering’ credits on the 2007 release, while they worked in fact as assistant recording engineers. This was later corrected in the 2009 re-release. 5) The ‘thank you’ notes for the entire 2009 re-release are different from the ones in the Hallmark release and thus have been indicated as ‘alternate’ as opposed to ‘additional’.
