DREAMS COME TRUE :Mallika Sherawat wanted to meet the US President Barack Obama from the time she started work on her new film Politics of Love. Mallika has finally done it. She has got up, close and personal with the US President.

The actress was invited for tea with Barack Obama during his campaign stop in the heart of Hollywood.

The topic of discussion was her stay in Los Angeles and she spoke about her upcoming film, Politics of Love , Barack, to which the President commented lightheartedly, “ Make sure you invite me to the premiere!” The star is said to be over- the- moon since the meeting, as its been a dream of hers to meet the US President since his election and her work on the new film, where she learned a lot about the man himself and US politics.

Mallika Sherawat wore a single shoulder sequined white gown for the 83rd Annual Academy Awards at Kodak Theater, LA, on February 27. The svelte siren showed off her curves in her figure-hugging gown.

Mallika also went on to attend Elton John's after party.

The film was shot simultaneously in English and Hindi. HISSS opens in India on 22nd October 2010.

Over 4000 years ago the inhabitants of the Indus Valley sculpted the image of the shape shifting snake. Children grew up hearing about the story recounted to their grandfathers, by their forefathers about an ancestor, who had journeyed to the edge of the world, and came back to recount a frightening story about the Snake Goddess and her mate.... and from here the legend traveled across India, and the far east along the silk route - passed on from generation to generation for thousands of years until this day.

It is the year 2008, an American man, named George, packing high tech gear, and evil intentions, makes the arduous journey into the heart of the forbidden forest. He captures a male cobra the size of a large python when he's at his weakest, while mating. Little does he realize when they embark on testing this mysterious creature in their high-tech lab, what horror and destruction awaits him...

Hisss is directed by Jennifer Chambers Lynch and Mallika Sherawat plays the lead role as Naagin. It also stars Irrfan Khan, American actor Jeff Douchette, Divya Dutta and Raman Trikha. Hisss releases on October 22nd 2010.

First look of Love Barack, Hollywood Film Starring Mallika Sherawat

Here's a first look of Mallika Sherawat's Love Barack, which was unveiled at Cannes Film Festival this year. Mallika also posted an image of it on her Twitter account. Slithering out of her snake-suit for Hissss, Mallika Sherawat now comfortably slips under the American flag with her co-star Laz Alonso in the first look of her upcoming Hollywood film Love, Barack.


In the movie Love, Barack, she will be seen romancing Laz Alonso on screen. Las played the envious Omaticaya leader Tsu’Tey in last year's blockbuster 'Avatar'.

In Love Barack Mallika plays Aretha Gupta, a devoted, local Obama volunteer, coordinator. The movie which is a political comedy shows that in the month before the Election Day, Democrat Aretha unexpectedly falls for her Republican counterpart (Laz), a handsome, dynamic African-American working for the local McCain office. Then what, sparks fly between the two.
